From the Manufacturer BAHCO 1000 volt 1/2 inch drive ratchet is used for protection against inadvertent shock when working on circuits up to 1000 volts. The overall length is 10 1/2 inches. There is a three layer coating insulation with different colors plus a forth one in black to further protect handle edges. Red is safety, orange is danger, and yellow is high danger. It is constructed of chrome vanadium steel. One of the buttons is a lever to change the ratcheting direction and the other is a push button to lock or release the socket to the male square drive. This is a 23 tooth ratchet to operate at a 13 degree angle.
