Favorite songs include "I'll Go Home with Bonnie Jean," the gently lilting "Heather on the Hill," "Come to Me, Bend to Me," the standard "Almost Like Being in Love," the comic "Love of My Life," and the yearning "There But for You Go I," and the 79-minute running time allows for plenty of dance music and underscored dialogue. The booklet includes an essay on the show, an interview with the original director, a detailed synopsis, and lyrics, dialogue, and even stage directions from the original 1947 production.
