This 500mL, 120VAC HM table top heating mantle is self-supporting and can be placed directly on the counter top. It applies uniform heat to round-bottom flasks with a low-watt density utilizing a knitted and braided heating element with a multi-stranded resistance wire for increased durability and flexibility. It has a pre-molded fiberglass liner with fiberglass insulation, covered by a silicone impregnated fiberglass cloth outer shell. Useful for temperatures up to 900°F (482°C). The table top mantle allows easy viewing of flask contents, and is stackable for easy storage. Includes a 6ft (1.8m) power cord with a standard 2-prong NEMA 1-15 plug.
