Leco's Platinum Crucibles & Molds: A remarkable transition metal, platinum is renowned for its density, malleability, and ductility. Its lustrous, silver-white appearance and exceptional resistance to chemical reactions make it highly coveted. Unlike many metals, platinum remains unaffected by oxygen and water, dissolving only in aqua regia or when exposed to fused alkalis. These crucibles and molds are crafted from PtAu5 (95% Pt, 5% Au), with Pt purity of 99.95%. Sizes are customizable, with regular items and custom-made options available upon request. All weights are in grams, and dimensions in millimeters.
