Single-step barrier and primer combo! Laticrete's VAPOR BAN MC ER is a 100% solids, two-part liquid epoxy coating designed to control moisture vapor emission in new or existing concrete slabs. Minimal or no surface prep required, it combines barrier and primer applications into one, saving time and effort. Also serves as an epoxy primer for concrete before applying self-leveling underlayments.
- All-in-one moisture barrier and primer: No sandblasting or additional priming needed, reducing installation time from two days to one, saving labor and time
- Fast-curing formula: Ready for self-leveling underlayments (SLU) and wear surfaces in 3 to 4 hours
- Extended open time: Maintains adhesion performance for up to 24 hours after application
- Exceeds ASTM F3010 standards: Achieves perm classification of 0.094 grains/h/ft²/24hrs (5.4 ng/smPa) at just 16 mil thickness
- Reduces MVER: Lowers it to less than 3 lb/1000 ft²/24hrs (170 µg/(sm²Pa))
- Rapid curing: Allows for the application of finished floor coverings, LATICRETE adhesives, and NXT MD Level and SUPERCAP MD self-leveling underlayments 3 to 4 hours after application
- Compatibility with NXT coatings: Can be used as a primer with sandblasting for quick installations
